It’s funny that couple years ago used to find good jobs in Careerbuilder, Monster, Craigslist… but now all I see (and not just me, that’s something me and my friends were talking about the other day)is sales, retail… the “work from home” thing, that tells you you’ll be making some unreal amount of money in a month… ???

I also have a hard time finding “big companys”’s post online. You have to go to theyr website and get lucky to find job offers.
Does anyone have any idea in how to get more information of “real” and “good” job offers… ?
ps: most of people I know is going through a bad time financially right now… any ideas?
Thanks guys.

Hey everyone! I was just wondering what some of the best retail jobs are out there? I’ve heard Best Buy is a good place because of the employee discount and i was just wondering what some of the other ones were. If you could please tell me the name of the place and why it’s so great, that would be awesome. Thanks!

What are good jobs that arent in retail?
I am looking for a job that isnt in retail, due to the impossibility of getting one. Plus, I am not very interested in a retail spot anyways. I am 18 and am going into college full time next year. Whats a job that isnt retail and something that doesnt require a college education?
Thanks

I’m self-employed and thinking of getting a part-time job for extra money in this slow economy. My business takes a lot of thought and planning, and I was wondering if anyone can suggest a retail store job that doesn’t get you all worried and stressed out when you leave at the end of your shift. Also, does anyone have any advice about lengths of shifts (in hours) and rates to request. (I live in the Philly area.) Thank you.

I have a bachelor’s degree but couldn’t find a “real” job so instead I worked a little retail job. I’m applying for “real” jobs again but am wondering if I should include my retail job or not.

I had previously worked a professional job years ago, but then went back to school for a bit. I tried to get back in the work force, but couldn’t find anything so I’ve been doing retail for the past 6 months. Should I include this when applying for these new professional jobs?

I have worked in office jobs for so long, I know the pay will be much lower in retail shops, but what is the general starting pay?? Do they normally have benefits such as insurance and do they usually let you work 40 hours, or just below to keep you “techinally” part time thereby avoiding having to pay you benefits? Thanks for the help.
