I go into stores, fill out a job application, the person there says they’ll give it to the manager and that I’ll hear back in a few days.

And then I never get a phone call.

Is it because my basic 1-2 page application ***** or something? Or is it cause the managers don’t really care and just leave the applications on a desk somewhere and never look at them?

Should I call them and ask?
