You might have to try something a little less glamorous like walmart.

Well, chances are, at least some of your friends are not as spoiled! lol…ask around to see if places are hiring. Getting a direct referral is usually the easiest way to land a job, pretty much anywhere.

You might want to sign up with a temp-to-perm agency.
They often have entry level jobs that are not advertised elsewhere.
If you have any knowledge of office software (Word, etc) brush up beforehand as they may test your claim to be capable in this area.
