What are good jobs that arent in retail?
I am looking for a job that isnt in retail, due to the impossibility of getting one. Plus, I am not very interested in a retail spot anyways. I am 18 and am going into college full time next year. Whats a job that isnt retail and something that doesnt require a college education?
Thanks

I have the impression that if you really want to get those jobs you need to be already applying in September.

I’m self-employed and thinking of getting a part-time job for extra money in this slow economy. My business takes a lot of thought and planning, and I was wondering if anyone can suggest a retail store job that doesn’t get you all worried and stressed out when you leave at the end of your shift. Also, does anyone have any advice about lengths of shifts (in hours) and rates to request. (I live in the Philly area.) Thank you.

I accidentally mentioned on a job ad that i have 7 years experience in customer service retail. I typed it fast without thinking and then i’m like wait a minute. Is working in subway and dairy queen considered retail? You’re still selling goods to customers….

I have a bachelor’s degree but couldn’t find a “real” job so instead I worked a little retail job. I’m applying for “real” jobs again but am wondering if I should include my retail job or not.

I had previously worked a professional job years ago, but then went back to school for a bit. I tried to get back in the work force, but couldn’t find anything so I’ve been doing retail for the past 6 months. Should I include this when applying for these new professional jobs?
