The retail experience also includes supervising 12 people, being responsible for and handling at least $6000.00 in cash, and running a 5,000+ foot square foot clothing department. I don’t know what I want to do with my life, but I NEED a change. I’m a perfectionist and need an occupation that demands perfection and attention to detail. I’m tired of leaving at the end of the night wishing I could’ve gotten more done even though I gave my 110%. I want to clock out knowing that I’ve done my job and have done it well. How is it that the 2.5 extra hours I put in each week makes absolutely no difference whatsoever? Those 2.5 hours are paid 15 minute breaks that I don’t take because there is so much that needs to be done and no one to do it except ME! It will NEVER end. I’m not a lawyer or a doctor, so why should I have to put up with that type of stress for less than $12/hr? Please give me some advice on what types of jobs I would enjoy and be qualified for.

Try a position in customer service.
Your retail backgroud would come in handy.
Try a job in retail displays.
Not every retail ob is as bad as you have it. There are good retailers out there that need qualified people
