experience == experience, there is no substitute. you either work, or you don’t.

just go and apply for jobs and go to interviews until someone hires you. That’s what you have to do to get a job, whether you have experience or not. That’s how people get their first jobs. By filling out applications.

Try starting at fast food restaurants. They usually don’t care if you have any experience. They will mostly be concerned with your availability. Then once you get some customer service experience you can try retail clothing stores. Even though they pay about the same as fast food places, they seem to be more picky about hiring people with experience.

You can apply for any retail, hospitality or customer service jobs as they all translate to what you are looking for.

All you have to do is apply to as many entry-level jobs as possible. They will train you. Even some retail stores may not require experience and you could find work part-time.

Just be really diligent when applying so that you increase your chances of getting an interview which will lead to you getting a job.
