Retail is what it sells for in the store.
Wholesale is when you wanna buy something in bulk to sell (like if you have a company), so they usually sell you a large amount of items for a cheaper price.

If you sell your products directly to the end user whether through eBay, your online shopping website … then you probably sell retail.
If you sell your products to a middleman who then sells them to the consumer, then you sell wholesale.
That’s why wholesale price is cheaper than retail price. Usually, sales reps get 15% of wholesale
