In addition to the retail price, what extra costs will be added? I know taxes, registration fee, etc. Can someone explain to me all the costs. Thanks in advance.

its usually called a “dealership fee” its like a $250 fee, includes title, registration and paperwork. other than tax, and the actual retail of the car, that should be it.

Delivery charge, sales tax, and sometimes the dealer will add other things like alarm systems, paint sealer, undercoat.

document preperation fees. On the very popular models that just come out, the dealer will add a dealer mark-up fee. The dealers did this with the Thunderbirds, and the Ford GT, Shelby GT500’s, when they first came out.

That’s about all I can think of at the moment.

In CA, they add a $45 doc fee. But in other states it can be hundreds, even thousands. Not so in CA because we enacted a law that caps the fee at $45.

If you’re outside CA, and a dealer added $500 doc fee, I’d complain and have it removed or walk out.
