we all pay sales tax when we purchase so that is why.
I hope you have resale license because that saves on wholesale side so you don’t have to pay taxes.
you only have to pay if sold in your state, you do not have to pay outside of your state.

Taxes have nothing to do with whether you are selling below retail. Also, many manufacturers have a price that you cannot sell below. If you do, your wholesalers will cut you off.
