    This varies wildly, depending on the terms the suppliers have with each store they supply. A big chain like Walmart would get the biggest discount over virtually any other stores. Typical mark ups for products can be anywhere from 2 times the “cost” to 5 times. And remember, even though Walmart might get the best price, they could still mark the item up to offer it for a very similar price to what you’d pay somewhere else, thus maximizing their profit.
