In light of the coldest winter in 50 years in America and the coldest summer in Australia in 50 years, what say you?

After thinking about it for a couple of days, you were apprehensive to report to your uncle what you really thought of the business. Did you really want to tell him that as you saw it, c-stores have seven big revenue-generating product categories: prepared food, beer, cigarettes, packaged beverages, fountain drinks, and lottery tickets. However, cigarettes are now too politically incorrect and unhealthy to continue to grow in sales and may even start to decline over the next couple of years. Also, gasoline, which accounts for nearly half of his sales, is under pressure from the likes of Wal-Mart and Costco, which are using fuel as a traffic generator. In addition, the other categories are now seeing low-to-no growth.
You realize that if you tell him this bad news, you need to tell him what to do: sell out or change the business model. What would you tell him to do?

Does it not at all sound sketchy that he was in SUCH a rush to bankrupt our country?

I don’t think they can win the case against Apple but it will be a huge publicity for the osx86 project and this had to happen some time right?

…any suggestions for a good and inexpensive ladies’ accessories site? I’m not a fan of ebay, so any retail websites you can suggest would be wonderful. Thank you!
I think business majors/leaders now have the esteem of being lumped into accident attorneys, and other shucksters whose main purpose in life is not to make money…but to STEAL money, or put a 90-year old grandmother out on the streets(LEGALLY, since if the law says so, it MUST be the right thing to do(if your missing some brain mass))
Why slap WAL-MART on the wrist? It just will be written off as a loss, and absorbed by the consumer, and they just continue doing business as usual…
Makes me want to hang up in my office pictures of “famous” CEO’s.
God help us in America, really. We are going down the tubes very fast…

Which is if you buy tobacco, cigarettes and alcohol we MUST ask for your ID age regardless. We don’t care if you look 99 yrs old, we WILL ask for your ID because it’s company policy.
Anyways, this lady came in yesterday and bought a 20 pack. I asked for her ID. She was 40+ years. When I asked her to give me her ID she told me, why? This is insulting? ***? How is it insulting to follow company rules and or regulations? Are customers stupid now a days? According to my manager I am allowed to deny the sale if they refuse to give me their ID. So how is this insulting?
They are hiring so heavily they are hiring me with just 4 years of retail experience and the requirments for this position required a bachelors degree in finance or economics and 3-5 years of real estate experience.
They are offering me 2000/month base salary and commission ontop of that. Which they tell me some of the guys there have easily made over 10,000 a month with hard work and dedication.
How can I say no to a job like this? And if the company goes into bankruptcy what will happen to someone at my position? The company just doesnt shut down does it? I need your advices on this please! And if anyone out there has experience as a loan officer with countrywide let me know your advice!
