Last 5 years I’ve been the receiving manager, so I really dont deal with the public as much, I work in the back… Good thing I moved when I did, or I would have been in jail for knocking a customer out
moxcboy’s, I know all to wellabout the death deal……I lost my mama this Febuary 10,.with that on my mind and rude people at work, I could have killed someone…customers need to take a minute and think about whats going on with us, I try to be nice to people, I go out of my way….I have been wrote up 57 times for going back at customers….I see alot of those customers come in, and now they are very nice to me….sometimes going back on them is a good thing

Yeah, today was the day from hell at our store. And our customers don’t know what they want, how are we supposed to know what they want? Cut us some slack, we aren’t mean people, but if we’ve been screamed at for 6 hours, by the 7th hour, you may find us less than excited to see you.

dam sounds like some serious stress. do you work in NY?
everybody is like that in NY. people take that customer is right **** seriously. if it is that bad you should think about changing you career. I’m sure the paycheck is not worth the headache.

Well, one must understand that people have feelings. If you can remember the last time you had a very stressful occurrence, (i.e. a death in the family) and didn’t mind the fact that the item you were purchasing was mislabeled, and the price check is taking forever. I’m sure you weren’t peaches and cream. I have been in the public service industry all my life. I do meet people who may seem to be just plain rude, but, maybe they have a good excuse… not to say, that it’s a good reason.

Now your in the real world. It’s like that everywhere. So if you decide to change jobs after being there for 10 years you better think hard because It might be worse in another job!
