    Last i recall, it was the consumers putting money, INTO the economy by shopping that helped raise or lower the economy that people love to complain about…

    the “Economy” is not this great mystical beast that people love to throw up as a gripe for all their woes.

    No, it was that same advice that he gave after 9/11. True wealth is through savings not consumption. The government, corporations and individuals cannot continue debt upon debt upon debt. It will come to an end.
