Could you be a nanny for a family? Or start your own private business where you cook meals for a number of families and then deliver them (frozen) once a week? How about working for a non-profit as a cook (Meals on Wheels, a shelter, etc.)?
I think it really depends on what you’re interested in doing. Do you want to work part time or full time? Around people or more with things (computers, etc.)? If you want to work around kids, you could apply to be a cook at a school cafeteria. If you like factory work, you could apply for those sorts of jobs. If you like working with older folks, you could find a job at a retirement community teaching healthy cooking, the basics of using a computer and crafts.
The world is wide open!

Maybe you could look into working at your local library or as a teacher’s assistant.

have you ever thought about Mary Kay? They have a huge anti-aging line that is VERY popular with women your age. My mother sells it, too and is 60 and has a great client base. I am only 26, so many of the customers my age don’t have the money yet or are not worried about the benefits of anti-aging products, but I would think you would have a great edge. I am not going to talk your ear off, but if you want info (I email it) you can just send me an email. It’s a great company and it has been one of my better decisions!
