(AP) Wal-Mart Stores Inc. said Thursday that a staff member for former Sen. John Edwards — a vocal critic of the retailer — asked his local Wal-Mart store for help in getting the potential 2008 presidential candidate a Sony PlayStation 3.
Edwards told The Associated Press that the volunteer “feels terrible” about seeking the game unit at Wal-Mart a day after his boss criticized the company, saying it doesn’t treat its employees fairly.

Yea, I’ll bet he “feels terrible”…but only that he got caught!

I’m sure that their hypocrisy runs much deeper than just where they shop.

Many Liberals and Conservatives shop at Wal Mart. Given that the current Bush economy favors corporations, it is one of the few places left that many people can afford to shop.

I can tell that Slip-and-fall Edwards is addicted to games.

Saying you never shop at Wal-Mart is like saying you never eat at McDonalds.
99% are lying.
And if they shop at Target, or K-Mart, or Home Depot, or Lowes, or Dollar General, or Mega Lo Mart, or any grocery store or fast food joint, they are still supporting the same crap.

I have seen many people with “Kerry/Edwards ‘04″ bumper stickers at Wal-Mart.
EDIT - And why can’t he go to Wal Mart, pick out the PS3, and wait in line? You know, like a regular American.
January 23rd, 2009 at 20:17
No, they don’t shop. They have their lackeys do it for them. And, most of them have illegal aliens who do the menial tasks, like buying food and cleaning supplies. Don’t be fooled by their prattle.

I shop at Target. I would shop at a mom and pop if there was one around here, but there isn’t.
Walmart ***** in so many ways it isn’t funny… ethics aside… last time I had to shop at Wallyworld I stood in line for 40 minutes to buy $20 worth of merch. The employees were rude, the store was filthy and unkempt. Thanks, but no thanks. I’ll pay the extra money and shop at Target.
January 27th, 2009 at 05:04
I don’t.
thank you for doing your part to make America and yahoo a better place.

But he didn’t start a contrived war for oil revenues.

im sure work there too
February 1st, 2009 at 19:07
I don’t shop at Wal Mart nor do I watch Faux News.
I hope some liberal reads this to you so you may understand.
February 3rd, 2009 at 04:46
Damn it Chef, you had to go Mega Lo Mart?
Perhaps it’s an imbalance of lithium or some variety of DeVivo affliction in the blood-brain barrier that causes such ‘lapses’ in libs.
I’m thinking it’s just plain ol’ hypocrisy.
After all, libs are the only group that truly cares about mankind.
Just look at how they treat minorities:
“Since you were you born with that particular pigmentation, nature hasn’t granted you the innate intellectual capacity to succeed in our society. Let us guide you.”

Do liberals secretly shop at Wal Mart!?!
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!!
I have seen many Liberals at Wal Mart and not one of those spineless, confused, hypocritical, treasonous bastards was wearing a mask.
Secretly ….Jeez.

Because Queen HRC served on the board of directors for 6 years while she was first lady of AK.
According to press accounts, she was a “show horse” at the company meetings when Sam Walton bused in cheering crowds to celebrate his non-union empire. Supposedly, she was placed in charge of the company’s “green” program.
Sam Walton and his family did get MUCH GREENER (in the libs point of view that would be at the EXPENSE of the non-unionized worker). During most of the ’80s, he was judged the richest man in America by Forbes magazine; his fortune zoomed into the billions. It’s no surprise that Hillary is a strong supporter of free trade with China. Wal-Mart is the single largest U.S. importer, and half of its imports come from China.
So to sum it up: Typical Liberal Hypocrisy.
Also adding, didn’t Michelle Obama serve on the board of directors of one of Wal-Marts leading suppliers as well?

Wow,after reading about all this hypocrisy it makes me want to get in my C02 emitting Dodge diesel and spew gray all the way to Reno,87 miles away(closest wall mart to me) and give the Walton’s some of my money!!! God bless free enterprise!!!

When Walmart built there first store in our town, the trade unions got all the muscle from Chicago and other places. We had a nice little mini-riot with a fair amount of damage. Many of the local Union guys knew us Police and were shouting about American made products while they took photos of us with their Nikons from theirJapanese import cars. Said they’d never shop there.
See them there all the time now but the riots were long ago. Still, nice to see them chow down on their words when I see them buying from there.
February 13th, 2009 at 22:44
Oh that horrible place Wal-Mart! A place where Hillary was a member of the board. It brings good products at cheap prices to people who do not have the fruits of multimillion dollar law practices to pay for their prejudices - like John Edwards.
February 14th, 2009 at 06:03
Yes. Not only do they shop there, they also invest in Wal-Mart. Example: Hillary Clinton.
